Safety equipment, so-called "devices with a safety function", is used for gas-side protection of the hydraulic accumulator against non-permitted excessive pressures and/or pressure increases resulting from non-permitted temperature increases.

A gas safety block simplifies the operation of hydraulic accumulators on the gas-side and also provides a means of connecting the above safety equipment using the various ports.
