The IO-Link technology has been integrated into the EDS 820 pressure switch series. The advantages: Process data, parameters and diagnostic information of the pressure switch can be transmitted via the standard cable (SDCI mode). An integrated LED display provides information on the operating mode and the switching states. Simple exchange, the IO-Link- Master stores the parameters of the connected pressure switch and forwards them to the newly connected pressure switch.
If IO-Link is not used, the sensor operates as a pressure switch with two switching outputs (SIO mode). For creating customer-specific small series or duplicating sensor settings across systems, the sensor can also be conveniently adapted to the respective application outside the system using the HYDAC HPG P1-000 programming device, the HYDAC ZBE P1-000 programming adapter or the HMG 4000 hand-held measuring device.
