The priority pressure compensator DW12P-22 is a pilot-operated priority needle valve spool type - for maintaining a constant flow rate independent of pressure changes. Cavity UNF FC12-4,1 1/16-12.
Its task is to supply the consumer in the first priority (port 1) regardless of the load pressure (port 4). If the spring force is overcome by a pressure differential, the piston switches to a throttle function at port 1 and then begins to supply the consumer in the second priority (port 3).
